What software solutions can you recommend for assistants and sales people to use for tracking appointments and contacts? Needs to be something that will work over a network, not just on a single pc.

What is a good software program for payroll, etc?

I am a NY cpa witha small pratice, we have been using accountants world software called accoutants relif and are 85% satisfied, we also used their After the fact paroll andwere 75% satisfied last year, but this quarter it has been a nightmare. I would like to know what other accounting and integrated after the fact payroll software maybe avaible ?

We are currently using hand written checks and have been since we’ve been in business (over 30 years!). So, we would like to upgrade. After doing some research, a lot of websites that I looked at said that VersaCheck was pretty good. After checking the user reviews on Amazon, I’m not so sure that is the case though.

All we are needing to do is keep a ledger and print checks. It would also be nice to give our guys check stubs, since we’ve never really been able to do that. However, we don’t really need it to do payroll accounting since we have a person that handles that.

…since we already have an AS400 accounting system. But similar style/functionality of Quickbooks payroll module would be great. Needs to be able to handle employees that are paid hourly plus monthly/quarterly bonus and/or commission. Thanks.
